143: This Journey Into Darkness
Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels. We've got the whole crew in the house this week, and all sorts of (mostly retro) video gaming goodness to dive into, so let's get rolling!?
Randall gets things started by chatting about some recent session with his Analogue Pocket, after finally getting around to digging into Metroid: Zero Mission.
From there, Kevin gives a quick shoutout to Samurai Kid, an awesome Game Boy Color puzzle platformer that never made its way over to North America, before leaning into some homebrew NES games from the prolific Matt Hughson.
Finally, John closes things out this week on a bit of a 'downer' note, as we dig into the state of advertising in mobile & free-to-play games, and the future of mid-tier development studios.
