177: Shell of a Human Nobody

Welcome back to Pursuing Pixels.  First things first, apologies for the little bit of extra background noise this week — it's nothing terrible, but we always like to give a quick heads up when there's any audio issues.  That said, we've got the whole crew in the house once again and, as per usual, all sorts of video game goodness to discuss...

John gets us started off with his thoughts on the neo retro 3D metroidvania, Pseudoregalia, after getting completely sucked in by its expressive movement & combat systems!

After that, Kevin gives a quick shoutout to a couple of metroidvania-adjacent games that he got a chance to play during his recent Chicago trip — including spending some more time with Gunbrella, and a few couch co-op sessions with Nobody Saves the World (with PP podcast veteran, DJ).

Finally, Randall wraps things up with some more Neo Geo Pocket Color action — including the fact that he recently scooped up a modded NGPC handheld console — as he digs into SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters Clash.
